Gear Up, Ski More: Epic Mountain Rentals Makes Breckenridge Easy!

We at the Village admit, we do like the mom and pop ski rental shops. But, Epic Mountain Rentals has stepped up the game and is helping everyone properly outfitted. And they have a location right in the Village plaza. Epic Mountain Rentals, part of Vail Resorts, is designed to make renting skis and snowboards easier, more convenient, and more personalized.

Guests can reserve equipment online before arriving and choose from a wide selection of skis, snowboards, boots, and other equipment. At participating Vail Resorts, rental options include convenient in-store pickup and delivery services, helping families spend less time dealing with equipment and more time enjoying the mountain.

For the 2026/27 season, Vail Resorts is taking the experience even further by bringing features from My Epic Gear into its demo rental program. Guests will be able to select specific ski or snowboard models online, with access to premium technologies such as BOA ski boots and Step On snowboard bindings. The program is being introduced at 12 resorts, including Breckenridge.

For visitors staying in Breckenridge, Epic Mountain Rentals offers a convenient way to arrive ready for the slopes without the hassle of transporting bulky equipment from home. It’s another way Vail Resorts is working to make the entire mountain vacation experience more seamless.
