Breckenridge’s dining scene continues to grow, and the past year has brought several exciting new spots to town. If you’re visiting our town for skiing, hiking, or a relaxing mountain getaway, here are a few new restaurants, bars, and bakeries that opened recently in 2025 and 2026 worth checking out while you’re in town.

A Hidden Speakeasy for Late-Night Cocktails

The password is…….? One of the newest nightlife additions is Chalet Breckenridge, an alpine-inspired speakeasy lounge on South Main Street. The bar offers handcrafted cocktails, a stylish lounge atmosphere, and light bites designed for sharing. It’s become a popular spot for guests looking for an upscale après-ski drink or a lively late-night scene.

A New Agave Bar with Mexican Flair

Another exciting addition to Main Street is El Perro Negro, a modern Mexican-inspired agave bar focused on tequila and mezcal cocktails. The name translates to “The Black Dog,” and the intimate bar features inventive margaritas, premium agave spirits, and small plates designed to pair with the drinks. The owner Sarah will welcome you!

A New Après-Ski Bar Near the Gondola

Near the base of the gondola, Shifty Lifty has quickly become a favorite gathering spot for skiers and snowboarders. The bar serves sandwiches, drinks, and casual comfort food in a fun atmosphere inspired by Breckenridge’s historic ski culture.

An Artisan Bakery

Breakfast lovers should also keep an eye out for Threefold Bakery as it’s now open on North Main Street. The bakery offers fresh sourdough bread, pastries, sandwiches, and specialty coffee—perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes.
