When you are exploring Breckenridge and craving something a bit different from standard mountain fare, the blue-and-white food truck at the Village at Breckenridge Plaza is an absolute must-visit. Gyros Delish has been serving up authentic, mouthwatering Greek cuisine right in the heart of the action, giving locals and visitors a true taste of the Mediterranean high in the Rockies.
Behind the window is owner and chef Michael “Mick” Halouvas, who has been at the Village plaza location since 2018. Drawing from his Greek-Cypriot heritage and upbringing in Sydney, Australia, Mick brings traditional recipes and genuine hospitality to Summit County.
The menu is packed with crowd favorites. You can grab a classic, perfectly seasoned lamb, chicken, or pork gyro wrapped in warm pita, bite into a grilled haloumi cheese sandwich, or sample crisp Greek salads, spanakopita, and savory falafel. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you don’t leave without a slice of his homemade, flaky baklava.

Whether you are fueling up after hitting the ski slopes in the winter or recharging after a long alpine hike in the summer, Gyros Delish offers quick, hearty, and exceptionally flavorful portions. Next time you find yourself wandering around the Village at Breckenridge, stop by and say hello to Mick. It is easily one of the best grab-and-go lunch spots in town!
You can find Gyro Delish open from Thursday – Sunday from about 10AM until 4PM in the summer and Wednesday through Sunday in the winter. Hours vary during the off season.
