- The Closed-Loop Network: At the heart of the system is a boiler or high-efficiency heat source paired with a circulating pump. Instead of plain water, the system uses a mixture of water and propylene glycol (antifreeze) to safely handle sub-zero temperatures without freezing inside the lines.
- Under-Paver Piping: Flexible PEX tubing is laid out in a continuous, engineered grid pattern directly beneath the paver setting bed. When automated sensors detect freezing temperatures and moisture, the pump activates, pushing warmed glycol through the closed loop of pipes.
